8th Annual
ENET Sunset Cruise of Boston Harbor and Networking Evening

July 13, 2010

LAST YEAR'S CRUISE EVENT WAS SOLD OUT SO BOOK EARLY!

The IEEE Boston Entrepreneurs' Network will have our 8th annual summer outing, our cruise of Boston Harbor on Mass Baylines' Samuel Clemens, on Tuesday July 13th, 2010. We assemble at 6:45 pm and leave at 7:15 pm from Rowes Wharf behind Boston Harbor Hotel. We cruise the harbor until 9:30 pm though networking sometimes continues dockside until 10:00 pm.

Our ENET Sunset Cruise on Boston Harbor will be an enjoyable, casual wrap-up for the 19th ENET (2009-2010) season. We sold out last year and expect to sell out again this year. It's an evening of relaxation and networking and to enhance the networking opportunities we have invited all ENET speakers whose presentations you've enjoyed during the past year. We have also invited a number of early stage VCs and angel investors. So, good networking for early stage entrepreneurs!

Our Sunset Cruise

We will be cruising on the Mass Bay Lines’ M/V Samuel Clemens, a beautifully designed replica of the paddle wheel steamships that once plied the Mississippi in the time of Mark Twain. The main deck is climate controlled for year round comfort. The Samuel Clemens is berthed at Rowes Wharf, behind the Boston Harbor Hotel on Atlantic Avenue in Boston. The cruise event includes a light dinner and there will be a cash bar.

We've generally had wonderful weather and beautiful sunsets for our cruise and hope for the same this year. Last year, our captain brought us to an excellent viewing location, when just before sundown the U.S.S. Constitution, "Old Ironsides" discharged her cannons for taps at the end of the day. A great site to see!

The cruise will again be catered by Off the Vine who received many compliments for the light dinner menu they served the last two summers.
