Join Our Product Launch Team Transforming Jewish Education

Jonathan Stiebel, Executive Director, The Singing Torah [email protected]
Our Product /Service
The Singing Torah is a learning tool that has been developed to help those studying for the Bar/Bat Mitzvah learn their Torah and Haftorah portions. What is most exciting is that our technology can be used by children with special needs such as ADHD, Dyslexia, or Aspergers. We have created web-based tools to increase engagement in the Jewish community. We have formed a non-profit organization assisting Jewish synagogues and their spiritual leaders to teach bar and bat mitzvah students.
Our Market
Over $35m a year is spent on Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations across North America and the Bar/Bat Mitzvah educational process. This is the pillar of Jewish communal life in North America. This market is highly segmented geographically into a large number of local providers. This is a unique opportunity to influence people who have a lot of money to spend. We are looking to capture 5%-20% of this market. Based on our network of educators across North America and globally, we intend to expand to address the multibillion dollar literacy and language learning market.
Our Needs
We are beginning beta testing and are seeking team members to prepare us for the commercial launch of our system and to bring in new customers. We welcome mentoring as well as financial support.
Feedback We Seek
  • How can you help us ensure wide-spread adoption of our product, domination of the market and monetization of our success?
  • Can you introduce us to individuals who might be willing to mentor us and/or support this product roll-out?

MazeFire LLC: eMinute Presentation

Our Product
MazeFire provides educational games that serve distinct academic, recreational and commercial needs. Textbook publishers and online educators have an immediate need for engaging materials that motivate students, boost learning and increase the appeal of their educational offerings. Our information-space style maze games fill this need in direct, elegant fashion. Indeed, the Digital Maze game is a universal learning algorithm that meshes nicely with brain mechanisms of knowledge integration and retention.
Market & Business Model
Because Digital Mazes are constructed from multiple-choice questions, they are easily adapted to any topic and skill level, from K12 education to the Bar Exam (see video and exemplar games at MazeFire.com, including Patent Law 101). Recreational and web-presence uses may outstrip our core educational value proposition. This wealth of opportunities is matched by strong IP (the Digital Maze patent). Because textbook publishers already create online quizzes, we can boost this content into an interactive student activity for modest cost, increasing their customer satisfaction and competitive edge. Similar approaches apply to Online Courses, including MOOCs, where engaging, interactive tools are again needed to motivate student completion. App development will extend our games into the consumer market.
MazeFire Needs
We are looking for marketing and design expertise to help us rapidly engage and captivate audiences in markets ranging from test-prep to corporate/government training.
Feedback We Seek
Ϟ How to best reach potential customers.
Ϟ How to best structure maze game offerings to effectively monetize anticipated demand.
Ϟ How to complete our team and fund raise.
